People work together in an organization to achieve organizational goals. The more the organization becomes global, with employees from diverse cultural backgrounds and branches operating in different countries, the impact of culture on the organization magnifies. Starting with definitions of an organization and culture, including Hofstede’s cultural dimensions, this paper explains the impact of culture on corporations by highlighting the significance of culture on the main activities carried out in an organization.
